Directions
From I-5, head east on the Mount Baker Highway (Hwy 542) toward Deming. Continue to the east side of Deming and the southern junction with Highway 9. Turn right heading toward Acme. Just south of Acme, you'll turn left on Saxon Road and continue for about 3.5 miles. Park near the Fish Hatchery and bridge across Skookum creek. Be sure not to block the gates.

The trail parallels the South Fork of the Nooksack River.
