From Portland, take I-84 east toward Multnomah Falls. Take exit 28 to continue east on the Historic Columbia River Highway. East of Multnomah Falls Lodge and West of Oneonta Gorge along the Historic Columbia River Highway.

One of the sections of the hiking loops near Multnomah Falls. This trail continues to Larch Mountain beyond Triple Falls about 6.6 miles.
